The air pollution over the years intensifies by industrial processes. The Red ceramic sector has relevant contribution in southern and southeastern Brazil, but causes serious environmental impacts on air, soil and water, such as pollution, deforestation and siltation, respectively. The objective of this work was to estimate air emissions of Red ceramic sector companies operating in Jataizinho-PR, evaluating whether a municipality little developed and with low number of inhabitants may undergo significant changes in air quality, due your dominant industrial sector. To achieve the objective proposed have been assessed emission Reports provided by 3 of 12 companies in the ceramic sector and conducted collections of inhalable particulate matter fine - MP2,5 and inhalable coarse particulate material – MP2,5-10 in a specific location of municipality. Sampling occurred in winter due of the importance of this station in the dispersion of pollutants by meteorological processes. It was observed that, although it is a small municipality, their contribution to emissions of air pollutants is significant and should be considered in the inventories of industrial emissions in use and under development in the country. |
