Resumo: Whereas, nowadays, there is a need for foreign language learning through more flexible teaching methods that break down barriers to learning a new language, such as the population's lack of time and financial resources. The viability of the creation of a distance learning Japanese language school, based in Londrina, Paraná, was researched. The school has as target audience the students of the Federal Technological University of Paraná campus Londrina, which was the market subsidy for the Business Plan. Therefore, it was necessary to build a theoretical basis for understanding all the concepts involved in the preparation of the plan, conduct a market research to understand the sector and the customer profile and, finally, elaborate all the elements that make up the Business Plan. This is a qualitative and quantitative scientific research, which collected primary data through market research, and secondary data, represented by statistical data and research conducted by other authors, which were used to prepare the Business Plan, following the model suggested by Sebrae. Thus, from the creation of a scientific base with relevant sources and conducting market analysis, the Business Plan was created, noting that the venture is accepted by the target audience and is attractive to investors as to its viability.
