Resumo: Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) and to analyze the current scenario of Federal University of Technology - Paraná, Londrina campus, in the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in addition to proposing actions for the implementation an OHSMS, based on the main requirements of the international standards ILO-OSH (2001), OHSAS 18001 (2007) and ISO 45001 (2018). To achieve these goals, a field study research method was conducted through direct on-site observations and interviews with university administrative and outsourced staff. The approach of the study is qualitative and exploratory, since the information obtained is not quantifiable and the research aims to suggest changes to the existing site, based on bibliographic surveys and direct observations. As a final result, it was observed that the educational institution has a lack of measures and standards related to OHS, as well as the lack of information on this topic. Thus, improvement actions were proposed, where greater involvement of senior management is fundamental, in order to spread an OHS culture, encouraging employees and third parties to assist in continuous improvement through a well-structured OHSMS.
