Resumo: The state of Paraná is a national reference in the production of grains. More than half of the state’s exports are related to agribusiness, with emphasis on soybean and corn production. Much of the production is transported to the port of Paranaguá, using the modalities of rail and road transport. The current transport network of the state presents characteristics that compromise the state’s competitiveness vis-à-vis other countries, actively impacting the national economy, as well as causing waste with loss of grains in transportation, especially road transport. Farmers face difficulties with the acquisition of new fleet, in the elaboration of procedures for the loading and unloading of grains in the silos and other waste in the transhipment processes of harvested grains and transport to the storage garner.
