Nowadays, it is extremely important that organizations are competitive in the market they are in. For this to occur, it is necessary that some traditional methods be left behind and new means be used to manage the processes more effectively, seeking optimization and the best possible result. It is in this context that process management helps organizations of all degrees of complexity to make their processes optimal. Based on this, the present work has as main objective the application of a process management method in the pharmacy sector of a hospital located in the west of Paraná. At the outset, the distribution process of the pharmacy was mapped and later interviews were conducted with a greater knowledge of the process and the identification of problems. Finally, studies were carried out that enabled the elaboration of action plans for the process. With the analysis made, it could be observed that the most problematic factors were related to communication between the client and pharmacy sectors, which meant that the action plans had to be focused mainly in this area, proposing improvements related to training and mandatory use of the system that integrates the entire hospital. |
