Resumo: The Production Engineering Course has gained a growing space in educational institutions in Brazil. This factor is correlated to the process of globalization and the growing competitiveness of the global market, companies are seeking professionals able to manage a set of activities efficiently, using optimally the resources and people available. Therefore, this study has the intention to present implementation of suggestions and/or removal of disciplines for improvement in the overall evaluation of the course of Production Engineering of the Technological University of Paraná - Campus Medianeira, by analyzing the performance of IES in 2011 and 2014 ENADEs. Compared the institutions who obtained grade 5 in 2014 year ENADE as a parameter to improve the areas where the IES focus of the study is presenting failures, so that the next edition of ENADE for Production Engineering Course, UTFPR - Medianeira win a concept better. It is concluded that some subjects UTFPR - Medianeira not directly reflected in the job profile, they are: Principles of Biochemistry, Machine Elements Basics, Industrial Equipment and Materials Technology, providing this workload to include more relevant subjects to Production engineer. It was suggested to include in the curriculum the subjects of Transportation Planning, Strategic Production Planning, Engineering or Product Design and Management Cost Analysis, as well as elective courses in Management and Quality Management. Still, it is necessary software deployment in laboratories, specific to the academic course.
