Nowadays, the globalized and highly competitive environment imposes the companies two major challenges: the optimization of resources and the reduction of costs. In this context, this work aims to use computational simulation techniques in the analysis of the manufacturing process of tacks in a signaling industry. A dynamic, discrete and stochastic type model was implemented in the JAAMSIM simulation software, distributed under free license. Simulation results showed that the reduction of an employee in the production process practically does not change the time of production of the tacks. |
