Logistics management is of the utmost importance for the profitability of a business, so it is essential that it be carried out efficiently, avoiding that misfortunes occur. Among the logistics activities, one of the most important is transportation. The objective of this work was to locate the most feasible risk management methods within transportation in a pulp and paper company in the region of the general fields of Paraná. The applicability is focused on the reduction of costs caused by possible accidents that may occur during the transportation of the raw material to the company. Thus, from a conversation with employees in the area it was possible to survey the risks present, as well as frequency, impact and priority. After that, tools were researched for reduction according to the needs of the company, prioritizing the financial economy and looking for opportunities when possible. Suggestions for responses to risks were mostly accepted by the company, who are willing to apply them when appropriate and maintain monitoring after the application. |
