This work aims to analyze the operational dynamics of a painting furniture industry located in western Paraná region. The purpose is also through the association of the concepts of simulation and optimization to scale the line painting industry for an increase of 50% in the production of chairs. The simulation and optimization were performed using the Arena® simulation package, which includes optimization software OptQuest. The methodology used is that of modeling through computer simulation of quantitative trait and is characterized as participatory. The application of these techniques together resulted in the optimization of the number of employees of the paint sector of the furniture industry. |
