This study aimed to assist in the management of logistics costs of a small carrier, located in western Paraná. This research is classified as applied nature because it defines elements that contribute to the cause of the phenomena. It analyzed the importance of logistics costs in the transportation sector and were made collections of accounting data relating to the costs that the shipping company has, whether fixed costs; and indirect variables. So that the manager can perform its function which is to manage the entire process, and so draw up a plan so that the product reaches the end customer with quality and timely manner, we have the need to collect, analyze and tabulate the data so the manager can manage their process. So the research used spreadsheets to aid in the management, we collected data so that the carrier partners could understand about the inherent costs in transportation and thus made an analysis comparing your freight received to the proposed work. In dialogue with partners, even they have explained the need for a 20% profit of the amount of your expenses. Thus it can be seen that the freight received by the company is not generating profit and the 20% increase calculation yielded a profit considered sufficient for the company could remain financially healthy. Logistics cost management presented here showed members a way to rethink applied method is done through notebooks and so the work produced is a spreadsheet model that can later be used as an aid to the company. Thus, it notes that with the logistics cost management spreadsheet became clear the importance of knowing manage and analyze the data surrounding the sector. |
