Resumo: Nowadays, the price of products is the market, if it is the time when organizations choose the final price of the product based on their costs. Today, the organization’s profit is the difference between the price that the market determines less its production costs, só it is extremely important to have efficient, cheap and value-adding productive processes. To reduce industrial costs there are several strategies, which will be addressed in this work concerns the main input of modern industries, electric energy. Using renewable sources, besides being cheaper in the medium and long term, also has significant advantages for the environment, since it reduces the emission of pollutant gases released to obtain energy from the Brazilian energy matrix, which is still used from diverse generation sources , Some highly polluting. This work was carried out in a refrigeration industry in the western region of Paraná, and aims to develop an economic and financial feasibility analysis of a mini-generation power plant through photovoltaic generation. The data on the consumption and demand of the consumer unit were collected, besides the useful area for the installation of the panels, with this data it was possible to determine the power of the generation plant. With the data of the geolocation of the industry it was possible to determine the incidence of solar radiation in the place and to estimate how much would be the generation of energy. The results were satisfactory, since the indicators showed a payback of less than 7 years, NPV of more than ten million and an IRR of 19% during the useful life of the project, which is 30 years.
