Resumo: This work aims to explore as theoretical and empirical bases that govern emotional intelligence and its links with leadership. Try how the goal is to analyze and identify the relevance of the leader’s emotional intelligence within the productive environment and how it can influence the entire professional environment of the company. Through this study, you can clarify the aspects that underlie the effectiveness of leadership based on the parameters of Emotional Intelligence. How to use exploratory and descriptive use, start a literature review and then apply a questionnaire to the leader of a fast food chain. Through this questionnaire it was possible to identify the level of emotional intelligence of the same, and what are skills needed for greater focus and development. As a form of approach, a research is qualitative, because it is representative and not quantifiable. With this study, note that Strong, effective leadership is essential to transforming environments into happier, more productive environments, and by developing na ability to understand and apply your emotional skills, the leader will be able to make his team enthusiastically achieve goals and agility.
