The garment industry has emerged as an important generator of income and employment in the most diverse regions of the country. Because it is a sector of intensive use of skilled labor, they are constant concerns for the health and safety of employees of these industries. This study deals with an ergonomic appraisal of the work in a job of a production plant located in São Miguel do Oeste in the state of Santa Catarina. This study allowed the identification of the main problems involved in the activity in each job through postural analysis tools like OWAS, REBA and RULA and application of painful areas diagram for a more detailed postural analysis. This methodology shows that attitudes adopted in carrying out the work require immediate intervention or in the near future and are related to the incidence of pain and discomfort reported by employees in the diagram. Resulting in the need for improvements to the industry post in study. |
