This study aimed to apply the principles of the theory of constraints and computational simulation techniques in the management of the chairs of the assembly process in a furniture industry. In this study are presented conceptual aspects of the theory of constraints and computer simulation. The computational model of dynamic, discrete and stochastic was implemented in Arena® software. As a comparison parameter between the data obtained from the system and generated by the model was used to calculate the estimated average error. Overall, the results show that the use of the theory of constraints and simulation techniques, can speed up the chairs of assembly time of the furniture industry. |
