Resumo: The present work deals with thermogravimetric analyzes of the adsorption of butanal, butanol and butanoic acid in Zeolite β-H, the activation energy of these reactions were calculated by the Flinn-Wall-Ozawa method and discussed the adsorption mechanism at the molecular level . The results of ATR-FTIR spectroscopy and theoretical calculations show that the predominant adsorption mechanism in β-H zeolites presents a relevant interaction on the part of carbonyl, not only hydroxyl.
