Resumo: Considering the need for adequacy of solid waste management generated in the retail trade, as well as, the application of the current legislation, this study aimed to obtain a sócio-environmental profile of employees from three stores of the same business network of the retail sector alllocated in the West Paraná State. The research was carried out through the application of a questionnaire, composed of 12 multiple choice questions and one discursive one.It was intended, from the feedback obtained, to determine: a) the percentage of employees who have daily habits of separating solid wastes according to their characteristics; b) compare the environmental knowledge level of the employees about environmental issues; c) report the environmental actions developed by the company; d) provide data support to employees about the correct use of solid waste management generated in the different business units. In addition, suggest possible improvements in relation to integrated solid waste management at all the organizational levels. According to the results, although there are environmental actions in the retail trade in order to improve solid waste management, some of the employees do not know about them. The interviewed reported a need of awareness from all the employees about solid waste management. Among the suggesting actions, they reported oppportunity of treining and more engagement from all the employees in relation to the waste management.
