Resumo: |
University research laboratories often face problems such as disorganization, neglect of the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), improper disposal of chemical wastes, among others. With the intention of improving the functioning of these environments, the objective of the work was to apply the Housekeeping tool in the Laboratory of Water, Effluents and Emissions of the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR), Campus Medianeira. The methodology of the work consisted in the application of a questionnaire to analyze the perception of the users of the laboratory regarding the systematics of organization, operation and security by the tool of Housekeeping and 5 Senses; systematic observation to define site improvements, carried out together with those responsible for the laboratory; and elaboration of informative signs, change of place of equipment and organization of cabinets of the place. It was comparatively verified that the evaluation of the users regarding the quality management of the site by the tools of Housekeeping and 5 Senses were similar. The results also demonstrate the efficiency of the methodology, since there was an improvement in the organization and functionality of the laboratory, making it more productive because of the standardization of activities. It is hoped that this change can contribute to the quality management and motivation of the laboratory users, in order to make a more organized, clean, standardized and safe environment. |
