Water is essential for life on earth is ever>increasing need to care for her. Due to the difficulty of treating effluents from textile industries, this study was to apply the technique of electroflocculation using an aluminum electrode (Al) in a liquid effluent of a textile industry, initially through a Central Composite Design Rotational (DCCR), identify the optimal values of variables such as electrical conductivity, current intensity, retention time on the performance of the technique, measured by indicators such as color, turbidity and DQO. For the range of values studied, only the time variable was significant statistically, for the removal of DQO, the 5% significance level. However, analyzing the response surface graphs obtained from DCCR was possible to determine an optimal region for the values of reaction time, electrical conductivity and current intensity, in order to provide an accurate result in the removal of turbidity, DQO and color. |
