Solid waste is one of the biggest problems of today. The most part of Brazilian cities diposes its solid waste without any adequate procedure, a custom that can cause environmental damages, for both humans and for the environment. This work search to investigate and evaluate the system of selective collection in the city of Iguaçu Serranópolis,searching methodologies for developing and implementing the management plan for solid waste helping to sustainable development, recycling of materials, examination of the life of the municipal landfill, as well as to allow for improved quality of life. |
