Resumo: The furniture industry is an important role for the economy of Brazil. However, some industries have high pollution potential, particularly the solid waste generation. The correct disposal of these wastes is essential for a company that seeks to achieve environmental efficiency standards. Several types of wastes are generated from the processing to the final product, such as scraps of wood, cloth, cardboard, plastics, metals, foam and sandpaper used, among others. In order to collaborate with a solution to improve the environmental quality of the company, environmental impacts management programs were proposed, in order to adjust the company's criteria of ISO 14001. To achieve the proposed objectives, it was necessary to identify the environmental aspects and impacts involved, as well as classify them through a spreadsheet of attributes, which contributed to the fact that 56% of the identified impacts can be considered critical, and the solid waste generation is most responsible for that scenario, contributing to 64% of this result. Finally, it was proposed some environmental management programs focused on the control of pollution and the impacts of atmospheric emissions, liquid effluents, solid waste generation, resource consumption and noise, enabling the production of a database aimed the certification environmental of company.
