One of the greatest difficulties found in rewinding electric motors is the expertise of professionals that know such a procedure. Rewinding is widely used because it leads to low maintenance costs and because it is not necessary replace or adjust the machine. The rewinding is applied in large-scale industries by automatic devices or by handmade processes in small businesses. In both cases, the quality in the final product is essential and the winding must attend to the standards of manufacturers. In order to improve the rewind work in small business, this text proposes and develops a device with automated control of speed and number of turns for small-scale production of machine windings, enabling improved reliability of the final product. |
