Resumo: This work aims to present the project and the implementation of automation in a row of corn starch in a bagging the West of Paraná Cooperative. Previously, the control of the bagging was performed manually, or all was controlled by operators. Constantly some problems were reported for this reason, as power overloading of the thread; the high reservoir level classifier, which can cause disruption of the screens and compromise the quality of the final product; and overweight or lack of weight of big bags, due to some carelessness of the operator. This work aims at automating the big bags bagging with 1000 kg of product, and the automatic control of lung tank levels and the classifier of the reservoir. The implementation of the automation was performed using the PLC Fentum I Infinium mark and Sion programming software. Automation proved to be feasible because the cost of the project, obtained through market research, was on average 87% cheaper compared to commercial proposals submitted by third parties. With the implemented automation process has become more efficient because the operator does not have the work off the threads or take care of the classifier tank levels or lung tank.
