Resumo: The present work consists in the automation of a freezing chamber door of the industrialize unit of agroindustrial cooperative of Matelandia. It have to deploy a frequency inverter to control the gearbox operating the door, a PLC for control of processes and devices corresponding to the door, and organize the electrical panel with some of the same component replacements, so that it becomes easier the maintenance of the dashboard, reduction of maintenance at the door, reduce time losses, heat losses and prevent accidents. Initially installed in a frequency inverter three phase circuit breaker panel, and connected the drive to the gearbox for speed control of the process of the door and as a device to disarm and defense phases of the door, were also installed an air curtain, and a resistance, thermal protection for the camera and the rubber door seal, these devices were connected to the PLC brand LOGO, which was also installed to improve the system, and is responsible for these devices on and off at appropriate times causing it to decrease the risk of accidents and short circuits, and also control the limited time for each share of the door. With this deployment improvements were obtained mainly with the installation of the inverter and the PLC, because with them the system will operate smoothly by eliminating maintenance derailments and damage in the door pulleys and bearings, and the PLC with the air curtains are connected only when the door is fully open, and resistance, which bind only when the door is fully closed, thereby reducing wasted energy and to avoid problems like short-circuit the resistances don`t turn in cases of accidents. Improvements were seen in matters of operation, maintenance and simplification of the final system, implementing best performance, reliability and security.
