Resumo: The work consists of a project and execution of a bench for studies with asynchronous generation. The bench is composed by two induction motors with rotor in squirrel cage connected from axis to axis and sustained by an appropriate support. Each motor has a 7.5 kW power and one of them named MP will be used to emulate via frequency inverter a primary machine, such as a small hydraulic or aeolian turbine. The second motor will be used as induction generator (IG). Besides the mechanical project and its execution, the work presents the electrical project and the execution of the electrical connections of both the power and the signals of each motor, just like PT 100 temperature sensors and encoder TTL 5 V speed sensors. The alignment of the machines was carried out with the help of a light ruler, and by means of the vibration test it was possible to verify that the whole set presents a mechanical vibration which is in agreement with the specifications imposed by the rule ISO 2372 and the bench can be used for the study with asynchronous generators.
