The objective of this work is the creation and production of a small run of posters of rock bands in the South American underground scene , especially within Brazil . For this, 5 bands were chosen today that fall in the proposed underground regard. At work were used as theoretical foundations , the history of graphic design and art history from the 1960s , highlighting the influences of counterculture movements in Brazil and worldwide. A literature survey was done in order to define what is underground , not only within the rock , as a movement , but rather as thinking and ideological line stance . The posters were made by some printers and graphics made by the author himself , by hand, combined with computer resources for artwork . Each of the posters had as reference in addition to every single band aesthetic , existing charts of these materials themselves , as art of records and concert posters , consider looking for the source of their musical influences , making a direct dialogue with the origin of style, its period context and proposal. Finally, a small run was produced from each of the print through the silk screen printing method. |
