Besides that, we also worked on the actual making of the book, which includes the definition of the printing processes, the kind of paper that would best fit the project and the alternatives for putting the book together. For those matters, we chose to re-design the children’s book Lili inventa o mundo, by the poet Mario Quintana. Methodological and theorical aspects of book designing and making were also taken into consideration in the development of our project. We present a different approach to book designing and making, because not only did we present a re-design, but we also re-arranged the poems, changing their order of appearance, so design, illustrations and content would be more connected, making the reading process, the understanding of the book, more significant. We also did some market research, in order to reach the public’s expectations. As a result of our research, we managed to develop a more interesting, more captivating book, that would best fit the needs of young readers. Esta pesquisa apresenta uma abordagem referente a produção de um livro desde a definição de seu conteúdo, até a forma como este conteúdo será apresentado em suas páginas, além da produção do meio físico em si. Para tanto, escolhemos fazer a releitura do livro infantil Lili inventa o mundo, de Mário Quintana. Os aspectos metodológicos e técnicos que levam à produção do livro em si. Além disso, propusemos um novo olhar sobre a obra de Quintana, não apenas graficamente, mas também em uma nova organização dos poemas que compõe a antologia. Foi considerada, também, uma pesquisa referencial sobre o que está em evidência no mercado atual para a área.
