The present work aims to create a printed tourist map of the historical center of the city of Curitiba. In order to theoretically support the project, topics such as the history of Curitiba, urban tourism and information design were discussed, as well as a review of similar graphic materials available. The development of the project was accomplished by the execution of two distinct models that presented different solutions within the parameters proposed at the beginning of the project, being later submitted to a usability test where the model that best met the needs of use was selected. It has showcased the relevance of using different elements for the transmission of information and the role of the designer as an mediator figure between content and user. |
