This research is the result of a study that aimed to examine the relationships between leadership practices and the conditions for creating environments of innovation in an organization of the health service segment, located in Pato Branco city, Paraná Southwest region. The study still has the following specific objectives: identify existing leadership practices in the organization; determine the conditions for the creation of innovation environments existing in the organization; and verify, from innovation environments, the favourable conditions for its creation. First, the justifications of the study are explained. Then it is presented the literature review that substantiates the study, approaching aspects related to innovation and the leadership theme, as well as the favourable conditions to the creation of innovation environments. At the next moment, in terms of methodology, the study was guided by the qualitative approach and descriptive nature, chosen by criteria of accessibility and convenience. As a technique for data collection, semi-structured interviews were conducted with two managers and one employee, representatives of strategic, tactical and operational levels of the organization. The data were subsequently analyzed using content analysis, which is the dialogue between the research data and the theoretical framework that supports it. These analyzes were based on two distinct categories: the first category related to the construction of roles, and the second one to the conditions announced for the creation of innovation environments. To conclude, it is presented the conclusion of the study, which considers the existence of evidence of association between the perspectives assumed between leadership, the elaboration of roles within the organization, as well as of the innovation in the background of the processes for quality and precision, inherent to the health services. |
