Resumo: This study proposed to understand how the different elements of organizational culture can influence in the creation of propitious environments to innovation in healthcare services in a clinical laboratory in the city of Pato Branco, PR. Considering this purpose, the specific objectives were: identify, from the leaders perceptions, the main elements of organizational culture that influence in the creation of propitious environments to innovation; Check, from the employees perceptions, the relationship between leadership practices and the creation of innovative environments; Analyze the relationship between the established culture and the required conditions to create innovative environments. In methodological terms, it was used a qualitative descriptive approach, thereunto, as data collection techniques, they were used semi-structured interviews with managers and employees of the organization. Two categories of analysis were listed: the elements of organizational culture that influence in the creation of innovation environments and the creation of innovation environments in a unique culture. In terms of theoretical framework, the concepts of innovation and organizational culture, as well as the propitious conditions to the creation of innovation environments were addressed. In this way, the main authors who supported the research were: Alvarenga (2005), Andrade (2005), Alvarez (2006), Oslo Manual (2004) Oak, Kings and Cavalcante (2011), Alvarenga, Choo (2010), Robbins , Judge and Sobral (2010), Tidd, Bessant and Pavitt (2008), Tiger (2006), Wagner and Holenbeck (2009). The syntheses were constructed from the excerpts analysis of research subjects who have outsourced aspects of the organization culture, mainly about precision aspects in the control of processes and in the way of consolidating the company culture. The organization is constantly seeking focus in management strategy and in innovation and this is clear by the expressive comments of managers. This dynamic occurs from important elements of organizational culture, associated with the structure of a company focused on quality control and accuracy in the results of clinical testing.
