Located in the city of São João-PR, an agro-industrial cooperative opened its feed manufacturing unit in 2005. In 2017, less than 15 years later, already counting with two factories, the brand becomes one of the most commercialized in Paraná. Searching to analyze the processes of forecasting demand and transport of the productive sector of this cooperative, this study aimed to correlate the two themes. Through the use of semi-structured interviews and a documentary analysis performed through reports provided by the organization, it was possible to construct this research, which counts in its theoretical framework, with topics where there is a description of the logistics, describing the demand and your types. Several methods of forecasting demand have also been described, as well as a topic for the discussion of transport. The elaboration of the theoretical reference, together with the interviews, enabled a documentary analysis that verified the possibility of the cooperative dedicate greater efforts to obtain better results of the demand forecast, which could benefit transport. This sector currently suffers from frequent emptiness of trucks, which could be mitigated if the cooperative had better fleet adequacy. |
