The objective of this study was to evaluate the broccoli hybrid behavior BRO 68®, through growth curves by adjusting the linear and nonlinear models, using as independent variable days after transplantation and degree-days in the city Pato Branco - PR. The following dependent variables were evaluated: plant height, number of leaves, canopy area, stem diameter, leaf area, leaf dry weight, stem dry weight, dry weight of the head and total dry mass. The adjusted models between the variables and the growth and development of broccoli and independent variables, as DAT and degrees days showed a good accuracy due to the coefficient of determination values. The behavior of the variables plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, leaf area and dry matter head on DAT and GD function were represented by linear models in the parameters. The dry matter accumulation of leaf, stem and full in DAT and GD function were represented by nonlinear models. The use of models for determining the growth and development of broccoli plants making use of DAT independent variable, there is the limitation depend on the time or temperature of the experiment site, which restricts the application of the results. |
