In this context, this study aimed to identify the behavioral financial characteristics of students language teaching Portuguese/English and bachelor of science accounting. Data collection was conducted through face-administered questionnaire and virtually, with return of 197 respondents, of whom 134 of course of bachelor of science accounting and 63 of course of language teaching Portuguese/English. Were analyzed the whole 04-year Bachelor's course in Science Accounting and 04 equivalent periods of Degree in Letters. The research results prove the Theory of Behavioral Finance, in the sense that the human being is influenced by your emotions to making financial decisions, not always choosing reasonably. Although there are many behavior patterns and in many cases they are similar among subjects, each one evaluates and solves a problem of your own way. The certainty effect and the reflection effect were the most influencers at the time of decision, even the majority still have opted for loss certain, many of them who consider the right gain changed effect when dealing with loss, they were influenced more by the reflection effect, since the human being tends to feel more pain from the loss of that pleasure obtained with a gain. Comparing the courses, it was noted that when it comes to knowledge of the financial market stood out the course of respondents the students from bachelor of science accounting, however when compared the behavior respondents of both courses had very similar answers, showing that some behaviors tend to be own of the human being, and cannot be attributed to the training academic area. As finanças comportamentais fundem conceitos de economia, psicologia e finanças com o intuito de construir um modelo detalhado do comportamento humano no mercado financeiro. Nesse contexto, este estudo objetivou identificar as características financeiras comportamentais dos alunos de Licenciatura em Letras e Bacharelado em Ciências Contábeis. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de questionário aplicado presencial e virtualmente, tendo retorno de 197 respondentes, destes, 134 do curso de Bacharelado em Ciências Contábeis e 63 do curso de Licenciatura em Letras. Foram analisados os 04 anos do curso de Bacharelado em Ciências Contábeis e 04 períodos equivalentes do curso de Licenciatura em Letras. Os resultados da pesquisa comprovam a Teoria das Finanças Comportamentais, no sentido de que o ser humano sofre influências de suas emoções para a tomada de decisões financeiras, nem sempre escolhendo a razão. Apesar de existirem diversos padrões de comportamentos e em muitos casos eles serem parecidos entre os indivíduos, cada um avalia e soluciona um problema da sua maneira. O efeito certeza e o efeito reflexão foram os que mais influenciaram na hora da decisão, mesmo a maioria ainda ter optado pela perda certa, muitos que consideraram o ganho certo mudaram de efeito ao se tratar de perdas, se deixando influenciar mais pelo efeito reflexão, visto que o ser humano tende a sentir mais a dor da perda do que o prazer obtido com um ganho. Comparando os cursos, notou-se que em se tratando de conhecimento do mercado financeiro destacaram-se os respondentes do curso de Bacharelado em Ciências Contábeis, entretanto quando comparado o comportamento os respondentes dos dois cursos apresentaram respostas muito parecidas, evidenciando que alguns comportamentos tendem a ser próprios do se humano, e não podem ser atribuídos à área de formação. 2020-11-17T11:50:29Z 2020-11-17T11:50:29Z 2015-10-07 bachelorThesis FIORAVANTE, Arielli Szeremeta.
