The evaluation of the condition of the pavement establishes some possible methods of application among them the IGG- Global Severity Index- and the PCI- Pavement Condition Index- seeking the comparison between the two the present work would ponder the IGG Method, applied in an extension of Tupi Avenue in Pato Branco. Dividing the section into sections, the defects were surveyed as indicated by the chosen method. With these data, it was possible to reach the value of the IGG and thus, compared to this result with the value found by another method, the PCI-Pavement Condition Index Method, applied to the same extension of the aforementioned avenue. Both methods pointed to the same condition of the pavement, despite their particularities, indicated that the pavement is in a good condition. Although the floor is in good condition, it has been found defects, and these need repairs, so the work also indicates the types of maintenance that can be applied. |
