These days, plenty studies about the use of mineral additions have been taken place, and they point omptimistic results. Thus, in this research a dozen of experiments were carried out aiming to understand better the influence of mineral addittions on stabilized mortar. The samples were divided in 7 types, wich included 1 reference and another 6 with mineral addittions. The 6 samples were divided in 2 types of addittions, and 3 differents percentages. Therefore, 3 of them were added metakaolin and the 3 others rice husk ash, in 5%, 10% and 15% in addittion of cement mass, of the original recipe. The experiments covered both the fresh and the hardened state of the mortar, performed at age of 28 days. Wich at the fresh state included, densisty of mass and consistence, and at hardened state, density, bending traccion and compression. The results of both mineral addittions were positives, if compared with the reference mortar. |
