In response to the heated housing market and search for real estate loans for construction companies, demand for certification within the Brazilian Program of Quality and Productivity Habitat (PBPQ-H) increased significantly in recent years. Added to the financial benefits, a consumer market increasingly demanding regarding the quality of the final product and the need for cost reduction makes the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) a great administrative tool. The pursuit of certification also provides search tools for implementation of quality procedures, such as Work Instructions (WI). In order to generate a model of WI for ceramic tiles in interior walls, this work developed literature research and case study, where WI was implemented and the results measured. Through these procedures, we found the whole process from the perspective of a QMS, concluding the need for a comprehensive quality policy within an organization in order to generate positive results in several company sectors. |
