Resumo: Bridges are structures of extreme importance to the development of a region. Therefore, there is a need for a deeper study of the mechanical behavior, to seek faster, cheaper, durable and safer solutions. Based on this, a study was conducted which sought to analyze the forces acting on two different conceptions of a reinforced concrete bridge, adapted from a prestressed concrete bridge design. The modeling of these two solutions were performed using the SAP2000 software, which allowed the analysis of the structures performance closer to the real one. Through modeling it was also possible, using the concept of influence lines, to verify the worst position of the moving loads acting on the structure. The results provide a comparison of the efforts made in both models and also a study of the deformation of the most requested stringer. Lastly, it is shown an approach on the best material for the bridge construction.
