The following paper intents the study of the feasibility of using sea containers in civil construction. It was sought to elaborate a model based on its disposal and in the Brazillian regulatory stantads to replace the traditional methods in the field of work by the containers. This model aims to better serve small and medium-sized business, with elevated quality, and speeding up the logistics. To develop the projetc, it was needed to meet the actual reality of the area using field trips and applying surveys to the people involved. Then, it was prepared the model as well as the quantitative and financial study of the materials involved to the containers’ adaptation. Therefore, it was possible to compare the traditional design method for living areas in the field of work. Even though the initial value to insert containers in the construction site is high, it is an interesting long-term alternative, based on the financial, ecological and technincal aspects, and the ease of use as well. |
