Resumo: This work aims to compare the strain and deformations presented in a prestressed flat slab, modeled by the Finite Elements Method and calculated by the Equivalent Frames Method. For this, it was performed the execution sequence of the prestressed structure modeling with the use of unbonded tendons. The slab model used was a flat slab, without beams or increase in the thickness of the slab, resting directly on the pillars, presented by Emerick (2005). Initially, it was made the modeling without the use of prestressing, in order to reap the forces and deformations resulting from the applied external load. Then, the prestressing cables were added to the slab, allowing the comparison between the results. Finally, it was performed the comparison between the values obtained modeling the slab by Finit Elements Method and the results presented by Emerick (2005) using Equivalent Frames Method. The results show that the SAP2000 is a suitable tool for structural analysis of prestressed flat slabs with unbonded tendons.
