With the constant inefficiencies of the Brazilian urban drainage system, its high construction costs, the environmental and social impact caused by ineffective constructions, the objective of this work was to analyze a sustainable drainage system. This analysis was performed at a subdivision of Pato Branco municipality, state of Paraná, where a block was delimited for the implementation of distributed detention system reservoirs, aiming only gallery system impacts, without reuse in constructions. Soil use and occupation scenarios were created following the city's long term development plan (Director Plan), considering its natural state, without waterproofing and its urbanized state, and collected two rain series from the closest rain gauge, of different intensities and duration, allowing the verification of the reservoir's behavior at different times. The reservoirs were designed according to the standard NBR 15.527 (Rain water - Roof utilization in urban areas for non-portable purposes - Requirements) and the simulations were executed by the EPA SWMM software, which enabled the creation and comparison between the scenarios and reservoirs, thus evaluating the contribution of a distributed detention system for the rainwater drainage system. |
