Resumo: With the evolution of the construction market and the need to increase the rational use of resources, the construction system must improve its processes, eliminate failures, optimize resources and increase productivity. Interference between projects and lack of cooperation among designers is a major cause of delays in scheduling, waste and rework at construction sites. The present work of conclusion of course aims at the compatibility of the architectural and complementary design of a residential and commercial building, through the methodology Building Information Modeling, analyzing and proposing possible solutions to the conflicts identified. Thus the study demonstrates that the use of BIM tools can optimize the communication between different project categories avoiding errors that impact the costs, time and quality of the final product, making the entire execution process more efficient.
