Resumo: This study aims to present the studies that address the literary dialogical Tertúlia. We opted to examine the many academic productions about the literary dialogical Tertúlia that were produced in Brazil. The choice was made by the fact that this is an innovating theme, but not extensively studied and implemented, since the reading practice plays a leading role in life and formation of children, as also in society. First, we introduced a brief study on the relevance of reading since childhood, the encouragement from parents and the people that are close, the teacher and the school, along with the methods that can be used to promote a liking for the reading. Subsequently, we put together many articles that are related to the related theme, selected for the analysis and so happens the breakdown of each in a frame. Lastly, the articles analyzed are presented, exposing the positive and negatives, as well as how the practice of this activity can be considered an advancement in the pedagogical practice inside the classroom. This research was developed within the study of electronic articles, from which the main authors were: DALL’ALBA (2002), FLECHA (1997), FREIRE (1989), FORTESKI; OLIVEIRA; VALÉRIO (2011), GIL (1999), SILVA (1993), amongst others. It was determined that there are many transforming elements that can be put to practice with this activity and, from that, it is possible to modify the thinking and actions with other people, as well as the changing and the interpretation of the stories found within the books.
