This analysis shows the presence of several elements in each of the studied versions, discussing the literature concepts, fairy tales and also featuring a rapid history of the Little Red Riding Hood tale, since its origin with Perrrault, through the Grimm’s Fairy Tales to the latest version. The paper aims to present briefly the concept and the history of Children's Literature, attaching relevant authors’ aspects and the analyzed compositions; and it compares the elements brought out in each of the versions. The research presents itself through a bibliographical study on authors such as Nelly Novaes Coelho, Bruno Bettelheim and Ligia Cademartori, by data collection in books, magazines and articles. For the analysis we considered aspects such as: the characters, the plot and the historical context, among other aspects. The study presents results in a comparative board which exposes the differences and similarities found in each composition. Thus, it could be seen that the versions are full of meanings that represent the society and the time they were written. O presente trabalho apresenta uma análise dos elementos da narrativa em quatro versões do conto Chapeuzinho Vermelho, estabelecendo entre elas um quadro comparativo. Tal análise traz os diferentes elementos presentes em cada uma das versões, discute os conceitos de literatura, de contos de fadas e também apresenta um rápido histórico do conto Chapeuzinho Vermelho desde a sua origem com Perrrault, passando pelos irmãos Grimm até versões mais recentes. O trabalho objetiva apresentar brevemente o conceito e a história da Literatura Infantil, conhecer aspectos relevantes sobre os autores e as obras analisadas, bem como comparar os elementos presentes em cada uma das versões. A pesquisa apresenta-se através de estudo bibliográfico, com autores como Nelly Novaes Coelho, Bruno Bettelheim e Lígia Cademartori, por meio de uma coleta de dados em livros, revistas e artigos. Para a análise, foram considerados aspectos como: os personagens, o enredo e o contexto histórico, entre outros. O estudo traz como resultado um quadro comparativo onde estão expostas as diferenças e semelhanças encontradas em cada obra.
