For the preparation of this work, it assumes that there is a certain analogy with Felix in Bento Santiago, which is the representation of an improvement from the first. From this observation, the goal becomes a structural analysis using the method of literature about the novels and written theories on the subject of both characters. The analysis is justified by the similarities and try to seek a possible theory that would be the same character developed by Machado, using as a theoretical framework, especially the considerations of Helen Caldewell, John Gledson and Alfredo Bosi. Such students of Machado's work and some more useful to understand the similarities and links thus making the two characters seem one in their psychological behaviour. Este trabalho propõe uma análise entre os romances Ressurreição e Dom Casmurro, comparando, respectivamente, as personagens Félix e Bento Santiago, no intuito de buscar as semelhanças entre os dois. Para a elaboração deste trabalho, parte-se do pressuposto de que existe em Félix certa analogia com Bento Santiago, sendo este a representação de um melhoramento do primeiro. A partir dessa constatação, o objetivo vem a ser uma análise estrutural utilizando o método de pesquisa bibliográfica acerca dos romances e teorias escritas sobre o tema de ambas as personagens. A análise se justifica por buscar as semelhanças e provar uma possível teoria de que seriam a mesma personagem desenvolvida por Machado, utilizando como arcabouço teórico, sobretudo, as considerações de Helen Caldewell, John Gledson e Alfredo Bosi.
