The choice was given to the fact of being a current theme, and often little remembered, since the teacher character plays a significant role in the formation of the child, but is also a very present figure in society. First, there is a collection about Child Literature, about the importance, the emergence and its relation with the school. Then, a study about the teaching profession, its achievements, some considerations about the teaching identity, the feminization occurred in the teaching profession, and the way in which it is represented in Children's Literature is carried out. And finally, the works analyzed are presented: Minhas férias, pula uma linha, parágrafo (1999), Fazendo nada (2002) and Uma escola assim, eu quero pra mim (2007). The research was developed, through a bibliographical study, having as main authors: Cademartori (2010), Coelho (2000), Lajolo and Zilberman (1999), Nóvoa (1995), Penin (2009), Geraldi (1984) Silveira (2002) among others. It was verified that many are the teachers representations that circulate in the infantojuvenis histories, be it in the clothing, the language or the daily actions practiced in the profession, which contribute so that the identity of the teacher of Portuguese can develop. Este estudo é o resultado da análise de livros de literatura infantojuvenis, em que há a presença da personagem professora de Língua Portuguesa. A escolha deu-se pelo fato, de ser um tema atual, e muitas vezes pouco lembrado, visto que a personagem professora desempenha um papel significativo na formação da criança, como também é uma figura bem presente na sociedade. Primeiramente, apresenta-se um apanhado sobre a Literatura Infantil, quanto à importância, o surgimento e a sua relação com a escola. Em seguida, é realizado um estudo acerca da profissão docente, suas conquistas, algumas considerações sobre a identidade docente, a feminização ocorrida no magistério, e a forma como é representada na Literatura Infantil. E por fim, são apresentadas as obras analisadas: Minhas férias, pula uma linha parágrafo (1999), Fazendo nada (2002) e Uma escola assim, eu quero pra mim (2007). A pesquisa desenvolveu-se, por meio de um estudo bibliográfico, tendo como principais autores: Cademartori (2010), Coelho (2000), Lajolo e Zilberman (1999), Nóvoa (1995), Penin (2009), Geraldi (1984), Silveira (2002) entre outros.
