Resumo: The present paper aims to present an analysis of the children's literary work The Chronicles of Narnia by the Irish author C. S. Lewis, focusing on the study of the religious archetypes present in the work. The proposed questions refer to the possible intertext present in the author's book, in relation to the Holy Bible. To do so, we will present a theoretical contextualization about intertextuality and the archetypes, thus, pointing out the influences that occurred during the construction of the work to be analyzed. Considering, therefore, the need to identify these dialogues between works, the present paper analyzes three stories that compose The Chronicles of Narnia, being "The Nephew of the Magician", "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and "A Last Battle ". The paper will be divided into two moments: the first introduces the theorization of archetypes and intertexts, using authors such as Carl Gustav Jung, Joseph Campbell and Julia Kristeva; and the second, using the series The Chronicles of Narnia and the Christian Holy Bible, presents a brief analysis of the intertext and the construction of the archetypes in the book. The analysis of the intertextual data, therefore, was based on the comparison between The Chronicles of Narnia and the Holy Bible, exploring some symbolic elements present in the work, and the relationship between the character of Aslam and Jesus Christ, relating faith and Christian values present in the construction of the character. In this way, we will present a comparison between the dialogues clarifying their intertextual relation and the presence of the archetypes.
