Sustainable development and energy efficiency measures are increasingly present in today's world. The pursuit for energy resources optimization, as well as their rationalization, are extremely important factors to ensure it's best use. The energy management system is a tool that assists in the implementation of policies in order to achieve a greater energy consumption performance and efficiency. With the use of energy efficiency indicators it is possible to verify and follow the guidelines proposed by this system, and thus characterize the consumer unit’s profile. Among these units are the great promoters of change, committed to the development of society and projects related to sustainability, which are the universities. In this way, this paper aims to propose energy efficiency indicators for the UTFPR Pato Branco campus, with the purpose of obtaining quantitative results for a performance and monitoring diagnosis of its energy system. Indicators proposed in theoretical frameworks were selected and applied according to the data provided by the institution. The results represented the profile of the installation and use of energy for the university, being observed inadequate values about the energy management. |
