This work presents methods to scale hydraulic turbines for any kind of geographical advantage. It is shown how does each type of turbine, its main components and the most suitable sites for the installation of each type. A brief study on hydroelectric power has been done, to be able to demonstrate the importance of the turbines in a hydroelectric plant. At the end of this work are some examples of turbine sizing for hypothetical locations. |
