Resumo: This work presents the development of a power meter based on the IEEE 1459-2010 standard. This meter can measure electrical energy in systems with sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal waveforms. It can be used for single-phase or three-phase balanced or unbalanced systems. The power meter uses a Kalman filter to decompose the fundamental components of the voltage and current signals. These signals are used in the algorithm that implements the standard. It was develop a PC software for the implementation of the power meter. In addition, the software was ported to run in a digital signal processor from Texas Instruments (TMS320F28335).
