Resumo: This work proposes an additional controller to wind turbines based in doubly fed induction generator. The additional controller is designed to attenuate the disturbance caused by the stochastic variation of the wind speed, cause these variation produce electromechanical transient that can be harmful to the system operation and to the electrical power quality (voltage sags, elevations and fluctuations, for example). The proposed controller is based on the output dynamic feedback structure and is generated by a design methodology, in the form of linear matrix inequalities, based in the H∞ control theory. The control input adopted to the inclusion of the additional controller and the output signal of the wind turbine adopted like controller input are generally available in commercial wind turbines. The performed analysis show the effectiveness of the additional control loop to attenuate the disturbance caused by the wind speed variation.
