The ground loop are important for protection of equipment from substations and individuals within it during the occurrence of a fault. Therefore, when a defect occurs, the ground loop tends to facilitate the passage of electrical current to the ground. Thus, this research presents the development of a technique tool to calculation of grounding loop, through the details informed by the user, it can automatically calculate the soil stratification and verify if the maximum potentials to touch and step are satisfied. The soil stratification in this work presents the procedures involved and the main methods described by NBR 1771 - 2012, among which the method of the two layers using curves was chosen to realize the calculations and obtain the layers of resistivity of the ground. In this context also presents on the different settings for measuring the resistivity of the soil, the Wenner method is used because it is the method the most used and shown good results. The characterization of the conditioning steps of calculating a loop will be demonstrated as a flowchart, in this way the final model presented by the tool will follow the sequence described by this, in order to meet the minimum values of the voltage step and touch. Through the use of a graphical interface, which allows the addition of user information, it will facilitate the use the tool by users. This visual implementation will be built from MATLAB with the Guide tool. |
